Shaka Hislop, who was covering the match for ESPN, passed out prior to Real Madrid’s match against AC Milan in California. Thankfully, he was afterwards described as “conscious” and “talking” following the harrowing occurrence.
During a pre-game segment, Shaka Hislop passed out. Before stumbling and eventually falling over, the former goalkeeper and ESPN soccer expert was performing a typical segment with co-host Dan Thomas.
As co-presenter Dan Thomas requested help, ESPN abruptly cut away from the incident.
Although it is unknown if California’s reported high temperatures had anything to do with Hislop’s demise, they were apparently over 30 degrees Celsius.
Hislop could be seen momentarily stumbling back and forth while talking with host Dan Thomas about the most recent developments involving Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe.
