A promising young football player named Alexi Beka Beka is attempting suicide. He is having a hard time dealing with the stress of being a professional athlete and the expectations that his family and supporters have for him. He also has anxiety and depression-related mental health difficulties.
On-site negotiations with a club psychologist were taking place as emergency services, firefighters, and the military participated in the operation.
Beka Beka has been feeling suicidal for months, but he has been afraid to reach out for help. He feels like he is letting everyone down and that he is not worthy of love or respect. He has also been worried about the stigma associated with mental illness.
