Teenage groups raided an Apple shop in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, on Tuesday, stealing iPhones, iPads, and other merchandise before packing them into trash bags and running away. Before the cops arrived, the teens—reportedly numbering over 100—also attacked businesses nearby.

The video shows the teenagers entering the store and quickly grabbing iPhones, iPads, and other products. They then stuff the products into bags and flee.

Shortly after the event, police came on the site and were able to detain several of the accused. However, a large number of the adolescents made off with stolen property.

The looting at the Apple Store is the most recent of several similar events that have occurred across the country. Apple Stores have reportedly been looted in recent months in New York City, Los Angeles, and other significant cities.

Dayjia Blackwell who is a lady at the crime scene had been uploading videos of the looting and livestreaming the city’s pandemonium on her Instagram page, which seemed to be encouraging it.

Social media users released videos of what they claimed to be Blackwell subsequently being arrested by police, much to her dismay.

“We are actively investigating these incidents and working diligently to identify and apprehend those responsible for these unlawful acts,” the Philadelphia Police Department said in the press release.

The Apple Store lootings have raised concerns about safety and security for both businesses and consumers. Businesses are concerned about the financial losses associated with the lootings, while consumers are concerned about the potential for violence and injury.
