On Monday morning, the “Zazu Zeh” singer appeared in court at the Ifo High Court in Ogun State.
In a tweet, CSP Muyiwa Adejobi, the force’s public relations officer, made this claim and added that the musician was also resisting arrest after reportedly assaulting a bystander and injuring a police officer in Otta, Ogun State.
“He will be charged to court for beating up a guy in Otta, who filed a petition to CP Ogun.
“There are many pending cases of assaults on people and attacks, and he will be investigated because people have complained against him.
Days after the singer turned down the police’s invitation, he was arrested. Remember how on Tuesday, videos of the street performer cursing and mistreating several Nigerian police officers appeared online?
Following the viral video, the Ogun State police command gave the “Zazoo” singer a 72-hour deadline to report to the closest police station.
He was detained at the State Police headquarters in Eleweran, Abeokuta after, as per usual, failing to report to the closest police station.
