The deceased Meru blogger Daniel Muthiani, also known as Sniper, died from a strangulation to the neck, according to a postmortem examination of his body.
The postmortem was performed by Government pathologist Johansen Oduor, who reported that the dead had markings on his neck and showed indications of oxygen deprivation before to death, suggesting that he had been strangled to death.
The autopsy took place at the Marimanti Level 4 Hospital Mortuary on Friday, December 22.
The pathologist stated that because the body had already decayed, they had taken DNA samples to aid in the identification process.
