Mr Ibu: Adopted daughter, Jasmine renames actor’s Tiktok account
Less than a day after the death of seasoned Nollywood actor John Okafor, often known as Mr. Ibu, his adopted daughter Jasmine renamed his personal Tiktok account, which had over a million followers.
Controversial blogger Tosin Silverdam charged Jasmine of personalizing the late actor’s TikTok account in a recent Instagram post.
Tosin doubted the reasoning for the hasty decision, worrying that the actor’s adoptive daughter would have been informed of Mr. Ibu’s passing prior to the incident.
Social media users are furious over the decision, accusing Jasmine of “tampering” with the late actor’s legacy.
The late actor’s Tiktok page has been renamed to @LadyJasminec_live, according to a Sunday check.
Remember that the actor died on Saturday night, just weeks after leaving the hospital after successful procedures that resulted in the amputation of one leg.
He passed away from cardiac arrest, according to Dr. Emeka Rollas, President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria, who verified his passing.
